I submitted a rough draft (stupid, I know) of my personal essay instead of my final version to ALL of my colleges!

I've already e-mailed all my colleges for a different Common App problem. What should I do? If I e-mail them again, I feel like my file will look messy (from so many corrections).

Fax or mail them this time.
Seriously, nobody’s keeping score on the number of corrections to your application. If it’s a big deal to you that they get your final draft instead of the rough draft, then send it with a little self-deprecating humor (whoops, I’m getting this whole year’s worth of mistakes finished early!) and a mild, polite apology (sorry for the inconvenience)… and don’t fret.

I was considering faxing the essay to them. If I wanted to apologize, should I fax another piece of paper with an apology on it? I’ve already contacted all my schools twice for different mistakes.

Will this take away from my application (unconsciously, they might think “Wow, this kid keeps messing up and probably isn’t dedicated”)?
