Human and Organizational Development: Peabody College at Vanderbilt

2 questions:
1. Is it easier to be accepted into peabody regarding ACT scores
2. does anybody know the average or 50% test score range for peabody college alone
THanks guys!!

Peabody SAT is 1400-1530 (for admissions in 2013), 20% acceptance rate.
A&S is 1400-1580, 11% acceptance rate.
Engineering is 1470-1600, 16% acceptance rate.

I don’t think ACT breakdown is provided for each school but you can extrapolate the data. A higher acceptance rate/lower score range doesn’t necessarily mean it’s “easier” to be accepted. There’s a lot of self selection going on which skews the data (that’s why Engineering has a higher score range AND higher acceptance rate than A&S, for example). Peabody attracts a slightly different type of student, and the admissions department looks for different things in Peabody applicants than the other two schools. I would not be surprised if Peabody applicants and admits had the most leadership experience, community service hours, best essays, etc.
