who received one and when was it dated? If you don't mind, can you post your stats and your prospective major. Thank you so much.

yea im very curious too. thanks

i thought i recieved one, but i was told that it wasn't one because it didn't say i was likely exactly so i'm not sure.

what did it say?

go to this thread:

I recieved a likely letter today, it was dated the 13th

what did it say?

your application to cornell univeristy has been reviewed by the admissions selection committee, and i am writing to let you know that you are very likely to be admitted to Cornell. Although the Ivy League schools wont officially notify students of their admission decisions until later this month, we wanted to share this good news with you now....
that was basically it

how many of these likelies do you think will be sent out?

not sure, but i think this one might have been for URM, cause they said if i had questions to contact diversity@cornell.edu

yup, I got that exact letter MzJackson! I was excited. It might be for urm's because I'm black too! I put down policy analysis and management as my major and my basic stats are:
2180 almost evenly distributed
740,710,660 sat 2's
4.0 gpa 4/400 class rank
lots of ec's and leadership
singer

Nice fut18000, do you think you'll be attending Cornell? Where else did you apply?

I'm not sure, i've gotten into Yale (ea) and I'm still waiting to hear from Brown (my first choice). If cornell were in a city I would definately go, but who knows.

p.s.- I fogot to say I'm legacy at cornell

how is brown ur first choice, i don't get it.

.....If I get into Brown and they give me comparable financial aid I'm going there....I'm not quite sure I understand your confusion, lol.
