Human Sexuality, Social Geography, or Theater Appreciation?

I need to fill my diversity credit somehow so I'm thinking about taking either Human sexuality and culture, social geography, or theater appreciation. I wanted to know if anyone has taken these classes and whether or not they could tell me what it's like, i.e. how much work it requires, is it easy, is it really boring, etc. So far I'm leaning towards human sexuality and culture cause it seems that most ppl take that (600+ class sizes) so I figured it can't be too bad. Although, i did read somewhere in the description about a 10 page research paper, which isn't too encouraging. I'm gonna have a fairly busy schedule in the fall (bio, chem, and calc 3) so I don't want to take something that requires too much time, but I don't want to be bored out of my mind either.

I’ve taken Human Sexuality and Theater Appreciation (back in the day). I didn’t like either because both classes required memorization of way too many trivial facts.

I think one of the best elective classes I’ve taken was Physical Geography. Not sure if its still offered now.

I took Social Geography in the spring. The teacher for that class this fall is not the same one as in the spring, but that shouldn’t change the fact that the class was easy. I did have to study a little for the exams though.

Anyone know about the multicultural diversity in the US class. D’s signed up for that for her diversity requirement, essentially because it fit w/ her schedule. Nothing much in that category floated her boat. Sigh …

zebes

Taking Human Sexuality right now (Summer B sess.) and it is very…interesting. Midterm is this Friday, and the teacher I have for it is teaching the only class of it offered this summer, and I know during the fall it is taught by someone else. However, I’ve heard that across the board Human Sex is pretty easy (even in fall)…first 2 quizzes got a 95 and 100 respectively. 5 extra credit points onto your avg. in the class possible…and the biggest point: all tests/quizzes are online! Lecture can be a bit boring, but if you take adequate notes and skim your book, you should do fine, since you will most likely take the tests w/ a group, and will use your notes, etc.

In the summer, there isn’t a research paper…but I’m pretty sure that there is one in the fall. Summer does not fulfill Gordon Rule…fall does.

I took Theatre Appreciation in the Spring and I really loved all the TAs and the discussion section I had, but I hated the professor. She was a complete wreck and an awful lecturer. The lectures given by TAs are much more interesting, entertaining, and informative. The class is very, very easy and I liked having an excuse to go see plays. I probably would have liked to have a more challenging class overall, but my roommate and I took it together, so it was a fun time.

taking ancient egypt right now, all online…you know how it is
