Humanities Honors Program?

Hi guys,

Finalllyyyy the waiting game is over and I was accepted to UT COLA as a transfer student for January intake. Glad I actually checked my mail because I got another letter from UT .

I wanted to ask if anybody received one similar-or if any current students at UT are familiar with this program. Basically it was an invitation to apply to the " Humanities Program, an interdisciplinary honors program for upperclassmen." If anybody knows if this is something worth pursuing, please comment below. Is it very selective? Is it worth doing the 'senior thesis' and completing a self mapped degree? Thanks everybody! Link to the program is below.

I don’t know of it.

My gut feeling would be to think if it is attractive to you. Do you want to write an interdisciplinary thesis? Some kids would jump at the chance while others would say “no way! that is just more work.” If you are looking at grad school, I think it would be worthwhile.
