I am having a very hard time deciding which of these schools are best for me, and because I have to make a decision by Tuesday, it would be great if someone could help me!
I am planning on majoring in elementary education, but I am also interested in dance and environmental science.
I have visited both schools and I do like the small towns and all of the outdoor activities. I think the one thing holding me back on deciding is all of the rumors about drugs/partying/alcohol, so how true are they? Because I am not much of a partyer

Any information would be appreciated!

You will encounter drugs/alcohol/party scenes at all schools. It is important to remain focus and surround yourself with like-minded people, be strong and say no to whatever activities you feel uncomfortable doing.

That said, I know lots of kids who went to Chico and love it.

I don’t know anything about Humboldt but I was just looking at Chico to do a profile and it seems to have lots of programs that would be great for education and environmental science. They have a Science Museum targeted at kids and several centers/institutes focused on education. You might take a look at them and compare them to Humboldt.
