1) Is there a limit on the number of course that can be taken outside of HumEc at either endowed colleges, other contract colleges, or graduate faculties?

2) What is the college's policy on AP credits?

3) Is there a limit on the number of credits that can be earned through study abroad programs or semesters outside of Cornell?

4) How does the winter session work?

2) I believe HE allows 15 AP credits. I was looking at it the other day and think that's the right number

thanks... anyone else?...

i'm not in HumEc, but i'll give the Q's a shot from what i know already...

1) Is there a limit on the number of course that can be taken outside of HumEc at either endowed colleges, other contract colleges, or graduate faculties?

There is, but it's usually a nice limit. In ILR, the limit is over 50 credits and I doubt HumEc would be significantly less.

2) What is the college's policy on AP credits?

that, i dont know.

3) Is there a limit on the number of credits that can be earned through study abroad programs or semesters outside of Cornell?

usually. Even transfers can't bring in more than 60 credits. You'll have to talk to somebody dirrectly in HumEc to figure out the exact policy though.

4) How does the winter session work?

Winter session classes that are taught 4 or 5 days a week for a few hours at a time. It's the same in-class time as the regular semester classes, just over a much shorter time period. I wouldn't take more than 1 (2 may be possible) class over winter break. Just think of regular classes in concentrated form.

cool thanks... do winter or summer session courses cost more?

i believe they're still the same cost per credit hour

human ecology no longer has a max 21 free endowed credits - you can take as many credits in any college and you will never be charged...ever. However, you do need 40 credits within HE to graduate, 30 within your major and 9 outside your major/inside HE.

wow... thats pretty awesome...
