do you guys agree math was a bit hard...

hypothetically if i omitted 5 and got everything right, what kind of a math score should i expect...(i had 4 sections of math with like 70-80 problems)

4 sections means one was experimental.

0 miss 5 omit

Math range 680-740

Realistically I'd say 700

Wow, what about omitting 2 and missing 2?

solsek, that sounds like a 720 to me.

solsek, last time in October I omitted 2 and missed 2, and received a 730. curve might be different this time though.

That's right. October had a +10 curve from the usual norm (where -1 is an 800). June, I believe, had a -10 curve. Thanks for bringing that up, luckymint. Now the question is will December have a good, neutral, or bad math curve?

I hope its generous; i got 1 wrong

Hmm, i wonder if the majority thought the math section was hard. If so, then perhaps the curve will be +10. crosses fingers

can someone lay down the most likely curve off their best, experienced, prophetic minds?

just for math tho

like:
-1 ......
-2 ......
-3 ......
and so on

I omited three
I'm going to get 650.

I left one blank this time (it could have been experimental though), and I have no idea how many I got wrong.

Last time I ommitted 4, got 3 wrong and got a 680 (in October)

in july of 06, i got 2 wrong, ommited 1 and got a 730

in april of 06, i got 4 wrong, ommited 0 and got a 720...

in july of 06, i got 2 wrong, ommited 1 and got a 730
If you're referring to the June test, that was a -10 curve from normal (740)
in april of 06, i got 4 wrong, ommited 0 and got a 720...
April had a normal curve. I guess this curve thing is actually true.

yea, my bad... that was the june test

Here are the ones I know so far:

January: +10
April: 0
May: 0
June: -10, 0
October: +10
November: -10, 0

Note that these are for only one version of the test on that date. Each testing date has at least 2 versions. I got both for June and November though.

so i ommitted 5 and missed 1...but if 3 of those omits and 1 mistake from the experimental part...hwo does that affect score

So that's 2 omits...760-780. The experimental section is not factored in your score at all.
