I am afraid my essays weren't very good !!

<p>I feel like I had no "hook" in my application, and thru my essays you can definitely tell.</p>

<p>For the short EC essay, I wrote about Student Council as a leadership opportunity and how I've learned how important it is to say "thank you" for all the opportunities you are given to lead</p>

<p>For the Why Business? essay I wrote in really general terms about my school courseload choices, EC's/leadership positions, and Catholic faith/values</p>

<p>For the About Me essay I wrote about being from a large family with Catholic faith and how that has driven me to be unique/work hard/succeed</p>

<p>Everything was general. Nothing was create or a specific story (except maybe in the short EC essay)</p>

<p>How much do the essays matter? I literally had nothing else to write about..........
I guess I should prepare for rejection in 2 weeks :(</p>

<p>I’m doubting some of my essay topics now too, nothing you can do about. We will always be our own worst critic. Yup, decisions are two weeks away, just cross your fingers and hope for good news. :D</p>

<p>I wrote the most generic why business essay in the world (took me like 2 hours in total to write it) and I got in…don’t worry, there’s nothing you can do now anyway:)</p>
