I am still waiting for other school’ decisions.

However, I need your advice…because I have to send a deposit

until next week…

I got admitted Emory, U.VA and Brandeis…

(I already sent a deposit to UVA because of the deadline…)

However, I cannot decide which school do I have to send a deposit…

I am a sophomore transfer. (& an international student)

Emory- the college

U.VA-CAS

Brandeis- the college

(I am planning to major in Economics or political science.)

My questions are:…

Which school has better curriculum?..(or getting a better grades…maybe)

I have to get excellent grades(over 3.7) because I am planning to
go to “law school”
(I don’t know exactly, but someone told me UVA is one of the hardest school to get excellent grades…is it right?)

Which school has great student’s body?

concerning about weather or surroundings…

(which school is a better place to live for a (international)student?
-> I like warm weather and like to live in neighborhood which is close
to the city.)

the other things…(You give some information…anything you wanna…)

dude, the uva deadline was may 15th, so i guess u can cross them out of your list already lol

between all those schools u mentioned, emory is the best choice, not only because of rankings, but because the campus is nice, the location is awesome, and the weather is great!

is money a concern? If so id pick UVA... as the difference between the three schools is negligable. Im probably heading to Emory over my state school, just trying to figure out if the extra money is worth it... especially with grad school on the horizon. 60/40 Emory right now.... could change soon.

These are really issues that are personal preference, as to weather/atmosphere and type of student body.

"Better curriculum" is also a subjective judgment and you'd do better to looking over course offerings, gen ed requirements, requirements of the major.... at each school's website. Rather than asking folks here, who generally won't have indepth knowledge of any of those schools.

I have knowledge of emory, i got in there after HS :) Emory = cool, but too expensive for me!

one thing i liked from emory is that if you want to graduate to a major like sociology, if u are doing really good ( i think it was like 3.6 +) they give u a chance to graduate with a masters while finishing up undergrad, so u graduate with both degrees!

The Virginia name carries more weight than Emory IMO and probably has a better social life + better grad/prof school placement + better looking people. ;)
