So I mentioned this on the HUGE MISTAKE! thread a while ago, but now I am really starting to worry about it.

On the Princeton online app, if you choose to write about a "quote of your own choice," there isn't a box to check, so you just put the quote at the top. I did this on my longer essay and it was fine, but on my shorter one, either the quote got cut-off (it was at the top, though) or I accidentally imported the wrong document that didn't have the quote on it.

So it's just a random essay, no box checked, not really about an influential person (well...it could be interpreted like that if you were mildly delirious), and just...naked and quoteless.

The essay makes sense and talks about one of my values in a kind of abstract way without the quote, but I am worried because I blatantly did not follow directions. Should I email or call the admissions office and ask them what I should do? I promised myself I would never call with dumb questions...but I really am unsure how to handle this. My GC is useless and would never call for me.

Should I just send in another copy of the essay with the quote added with a note? My dad suggested just sending in a piece of paper with a short explanation and JUST the quote on it, so that it wouldn't look like I was sending in a copy of an essay they already had. I already sent in the What Else? form, so I couldn't do that.

Any suggestions?
