The essays are about quotes (again i think) Since you use the quotes as a jumping/ starting off point do you put it into your essay or just start your essay assuming they know your quote? i plan on using one of the quotes given

thanks again

ps. I got the essays from the Princeton Paper Ap link on the Princeton website

With close to 20,000 applications to read, you can be sure that the adcoms are familiar with the quotes. Don't restate them in your essay.

Ok thanks, started the intro on one and putting the quote just took away from the whole mood

sorry for the dbl post....should i put it up on top of my essay

sry for being so picky i just dont wanna look dumb on the essay

What I meant was that you don't want to have the entire quote stand alone at the top of your essay. It's fine to weave the language of the quote into your essay.

Did you get the quotes for this years app or last years? Do the quotes change from year to year?

This year's app. I'm pretty sure they're about the same.

Ah, the memories of those days!
