Also how am I grade and stuff wise…Not official, just this seem right…I am only a junior

Also does BU offer a CSEE program?
joint computer science and electrical engineering

Also...How high tech is the campus?
I know it doesn't really have a campus, but just the classrooms and dorms.

I plan to visit both BU,BC,NorthEastern and maybe MIT next year...I mean it is like a 1/2 hour drive.
I am looking at BU the most out of all them, BC is a good school and a great campus and all but it is overrated IMO and much hard to get into. They just are popular because the Eagles are one of the best teams in the country.

I like the fact that it is in Boston, because I love Boston. I hear BU is exceptionally snobby and preppy I as you can tell am quite normal and somewhat geeky. But I find that fact that it is right down the street from MIT and Harvard since I believe 2 of my friends are on the Harvard track and I would like to eventually go to MIT via transfer or for graduate school.

What is this about downscaling grades? Why would they want to do that?

what's your weighted gpa?
it seems odd that you're top ten percent with a 3.3.

the gpa is the questionable part of your chances..
the average accepted gpa is a lot higher, but if you're top ten percent-ish, it might not matter that it's low

your sat's will probably naturally go up
(for me, sophomore psat's were 182, junior psat's were 202, junior year 1st sat's were 2040, and junior year 2nd sat's were 2150. i didn't take classes or anything, although before the second sat's i definitely tried to study the material)

even if your sat's don't go up, i think they're alright

Just work on getting your GPA up, and make sure you do well on your SATs.

By the way, I'm "normal and geeky" and I fit in at BU just fine. It seems to be a common misconception that the campus has an abnormally high portion of airheads, while I've found that's not exactly the case, at least not around my part of campus (CAS/Warren Towers area).
