I applied on 11/6/16

Can anyone give me some insight on when I could hear a decision for Indiana University. I am a regular decision applicant with slightly below test scores and average GPA( I do not know if that matters or not).

Today I was asked for my 7th semester grades… Is this a good or a bad sign? In my 7th semester I got a 3.58 UW and 4.21 W gpa, so I improved… Any suggestions on to improve my chances?

Obviously send them your 7th semester grades, but I don’t think there is much you can do to improve your chances at this point. Congrats on a good semester though. Hopefully you get in! I honestly have no clue about chances if they ask for 7th semester grades.

Send them in. Not specific to IU but one of the other schools we visited someone asked a similar question around if asked for 7th semester grades. That administrator indicated those grades could be the tipping point. One thing he stated was there is always a concern that students will drop off some in their Senior year. If there are two students in similar situations, both asked for their 7th semester grades and one went down and the other improved, the one who would most likely get accepted would be the one that showed improvement.

Not sure if that is how IU administration looks at it but that gives you an idea of how at least another similar type and sized school looks at it.

Thank you both! @iubaccounting @dcolosi
