I applied to 5 universities, when will I get the results?

Hey, today I applied to:

Penn State - August 2013
U of Minnesota - August 2013
U of Pittsburgh - August 2013
Purdue - August 2013
U of Toronto - September 2013

I am an international student and probably in less than two weeks I have my school transcripts delivered... how long will I have to wait to be informed of their decisions?

I can't really find information, and they don't answer my mails (lol)...

I don't need exact dates, just averages...

Dude, I think every university gives out their decisions by late March or early April. You’re applying RD, right?

It’s a long wait, I know.

What is RD?

And mmmm I guess that’s not bad… thanks for the info.

Check the websites, they will give you an exact date or month.

RD is Regular Decision.

Also, Penn State may send their decisions earlier because their app is due in like 2 days, but i’m not certain

For Minnesota, they promise decision by late February. Their app. deadline is coming up 12/15, so they are probably pretty swamped now. Back when D applied in September, it just took a couple of weeks to see decision on application tracker. They release decisions as they make them, which is faster if your grades/test scores are high. I would get the transcripts/test scores to them ASAP. They can’t start reviewing your file until it is complete.

It looks like Purdue also releases decisions as they make them, starting soon. You missed their scholarship deadline, but I don’t know whether or not they have international scholarships. Again, need to get the missing materials to them so they can review your app.

For Penn Sate, if you have all materials in by 11/30, you will hear back by 1/31.

If you click on international students, you see that you have a later deadline of 2/1, not the 11/30. But then you may not hear back by end of Jan. Can you send transcripts electronically?
