I can't decide which school to go to

It's down to Tufts, GW, Bucknell, and maybe UMichigan. (I haven't visited Michigan yet.)

Major- political science
Also doing pre-med

I may want to double major with some type of biopsychology or neuroscience

list some of the pros and cons of each school

TUFTS
pros:

 • boston is really close but has campus
 • good professors and academics
 • good size

cons:

 • very liberal (this is not a huge con)
 • very close to home (I live in MA, and I want to go somewhere else)

GW
pros:

 • DC is really nice- a lot of internship opportunities
 • has mt vernon campus = small campus feel
 • nice housing

cons:

 • very urban campus ( i like somewhat of a campus) but not huge con
 • academics are not as good as that of tufts’
 • need more full-time faculty

BUCKNELL
pros:

 • research opportunities are plentiful
 • good academics (small liberal arts)
 • huge community service
 • mostly undergrad

cons:

 • very rural
 • core curriculum is burdensome
 • greek life is too big (not huge con)

I would recommend Bucknell, but I don’t know if its small size will limit your course offerings in neuroscience (just a thought, haven’t checked).

I would say GW first since I saw you saying Political science, but then pre-Med. So, UMich gets my vote
