<p>I really hate my school so much, but I cant transfer and I dont necessarily want to drop out. There's absolutely nothing to do at all except study and work. There's nothing fun on weekends. The people here just are so snooty and stuck up because they get straight A's and frown down on people who dont. to top it off, i try really hard her to do well in the engineering major and I can get nothing more than a C in anything and end up bombing most tests. Ive tried other majors and couldnt stand them. not to mention that the food tastes bad. </p>
<p>I hate the city of cleveland. Ever since comming here, I've experienced nothing but bad things, ranging from roommate issues to having shady friends to being on disciplinary probation for kicking a vending machine, not to mention my grades are suffering in whatever major i choose that actually has some promise in it (not my language classes tho). Idk what to do anymore. Im trying really hard to find one thing to keep my sanity but i just cant. I thought that even though i read the aweful things about this school on urbandictionary, that half of it wouldnt be true and Id enjoy it here, but its turning out to be really true</p>
<p>Hmmm…you have a number of issues crammed into one post, including the wrong city. I suggest you make an appointment to see someone in the counseling department to help you identify your issues and work to get yourself centered. An engineering major at any school is going to be demanding.</p>
<p>Oh I thought you meant some other reason. The same goes for one of my friends, she wanted to transfer but it was too late so she’s waiting and transferring for next spring.
Do you really want to be an engineer? What things are you interested in?</p>
<p>I actually like math and chemistry and physics. Bio would be interesting if the tests werent meant to intentionally trick people. econ was fine until my grade was messed up. Then everything else, not really my cup of tea</p>
<p>I actually got into engineering from hearing about it in high school from my guidance counselor when i was initally considering doing a chemistry major. I ultimately wanted to go into pharmacy but since my school doesnt have that, time to move on. So, i guess the answer to that is not really, but i am open to the idea since i believe thats where my talents could more than likely lie, im just not at the right place or I just havent had good teachers or some other factor thats preventing me from enjoying it</p>
<p>Side note: everytime i put something up on CC and read people’s responses (regardless as to how ridiculous or condescending/ill willed they may be) I learn a little more about myself: life, interests, personality, etc…</p>

<p>I can do what I want, Manhattan75. Its CC, people post the most ridiculous crap on here and just because I have more than one thread like this doesnt mean I automatically need a therapist. Im asking what people would do in my situation. Besides, all therapy will do is make me feel sorry for myself for even choosing to go to school (I know I’ve actually seen a few, btw).</p>
