I planned on applying to a school that I really didn't know that much about. However as I researched it more I realized that I didn't really like it.

However my counselor and teacher have already sent in their reccomendations, so should I write to the school saying that I will not apply, or if I don't turn in my application will they get the idea?

i think most colleges dont really start collecting application items until they get your actual application, so if they just have the recs, its probably nto a big deal...im not sure though...

Someone will throw the recs in a file w/ your name and it'll sit until your application doesn't arrive, then discarded. So, it doesn't matter if you write them or not.
