I completed a local club scholarship and ................

So I found out early this week about a scholarship for a local community service club. I was a huge part of the club and found out I was the only one applying. I even emailed the person who put out the scholarship to find out some specifics (even though I was a basic shoe in to win, because I was the only one doing it). Anyways the application said it needed to be either hand delivered by today (5/17) or postmarked yesterday (5/16). I finished the application Tuesday night (5/15) and had my mom take it to the post office midday yesterday (5/16) and postmark and mail it. I find out today that the club that runs the scholarship didn't receive it and that they are having a club meeting tonight and they were suppose to discuss the scholarship. I got a call from one of the members informing me that he knew I did the paperwork but couldn't do anything because it was not received. What can I do?

Did you keep copies? Can you hand deliver it now? Other than that I don't know what to suggest. Tough break.

I do have copies of all the forms (I'd have to fill them out again but wouldn't take long) but its too late to hand deliver. The club rep called me at like 7 o clock (its now 8). They are having a meeting but I don't think I can do anything. Hopefully this cleared up, if not oh well its out of my hands, I did everything asked of me.

Update: The Rep called me back and said they did receive my application and I WON! I'm very happy. Its $500 less for my parents to pay. Not only that I checked my mail and got another $2000 per year from another scholarship fund. I'm stokedddddd!!!!!!!!!!
