Ok maybe I exaggerated on the title but I am really worried about my grade in algebra 2. I had a 87 in the first and second quarter. Then today, I got 74 on the mid term so my overall grade is a 84. I did the math and to get a 90 overall year grade, I have to get a 96 in my next quarter and the one after that. Then I also have to get a 96 in my finals exam. Has anyone ever been in an experience like this? How would one prepare to undertake this task (aside from studying constantly)?
Do you have any ideas about why you didn’t do as well as you wanted to?
@halcyonheather
It was because I didnt finish. I would have gotten a much higher grade had i gotten to all the questions.
When I first saw the title, I thought “Is that a new song” lol
A big part of school is pacing, as I have ever so learned. A good way to prep for things like this is set a time limit for homework to be done in and try to do it within that time frame. Then go back and actually do it/make sure you did everything okay.
Talk to your teacher. Possibly get a tutor?
What topics are slowing you down?
Can you factor?? Well and quickly??
