I deposited.. i'm so CONFUSED about housing.

If i log into "now that I'm enrolled" website, it says under housing:

University Housing
Your housing assignment is pending. Please check back again after July 15th. If you are a commuter student, no housing assignment will be displayed.

I thought I was allowed to pick first/second choice/so on about which dorms I want ...and someone said I have to turn those in by the end of May. but this website says my housing assignment's pending until 7/15 ??
someone please clarify this...???

Mail back the forms in your FAT letter, wait a couple of days and you’ll receive another package including forms such as housing preference.
Not sure about 7/15, I guess it’s when they tell you which dorm you end up with living.

I deposited online yesterday… do i have to send back those forms too?? do they have to be postmarked may 1st… TODAY!!!

do they send a housing package even if you did everything online?

Once you pay the deposit, you are officially a Tartan! But you still have to mail back the forms I think. As long as you pay the deposit before the deadline, you’re fine and are put in the queue of choosing dorms.

okay  and sorry for keep asking questions haha but since I already paid online, should I just fill out the forms and send it w/out the check?

I heard that the best way is to send the forms with the receipt page that poped up after you paid the deposit but I didn’t print that out so in my package I included the paying-deposit form and wrote a big I HAVE PAID ONLINE on it.

Anyway, once you’re in, I think they will contact you if anything is missing or not done correctly because you are now their student.

thank you so much! :)

Do we have to mail back the forms from the FAT letter, or can we just do it online?
Because I did it online, so I’m not sure whether I still need to mail all of them forms.

I called admissions and they said that doing it online was fine and there was no need to mail the forms in.
