I recently took my first SAT ever as a Junior in high school. I got my scores back the other day and they were horrible....I made a 1700. I was aiming for at least the 1900's. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in myself. I did not study at all (and I mean at all) for the test. I'm a very very good student.....the top of my class, my GPA is very high, and I only make A's. I take AP classes and I work my butt off. I know that sounds so clich</p>
<p>1700 isn’t bad, but I see how it may be for someone with straight As. </p>
<p>I think that you should retake it. If you study, I think you’ll do better. Buy the official SAT study guide, or take a class.</p>
<p>Also, try taking the ACT. </p>
