But UNFORTUNATELY my application status is still in the "preliminary review" and states:

On your application you identified a violation of the law or you acknowledged that you have been subject to disciplinary action at an educational institution for scholastic infraction or misconduct. Please provide an explanation to the Office of Admissions, 201 Criser Hall, P.O. Box 114000, Gainesville FL 32611-4000, to complete your application.

I assume I accidentally clicked the wrong button..but I did check my app over at least 3 times. I just sent an email, since the admissions office is closed on weekends.

Any advice? I am kind of frieking out. I have no idea how long that warning had been there since it was rather inconspicuous. Will this affect my chances at honors and additional scholarships? Will I straight up be rejected and have to refile?

A brief overview of my stats as sent to UF:

wow, there is no telling, but uf is aware that many students will make mistakes during the application (especially the ones that did not have anyone to review their application before submitting). just hope that email gets responded to quickly, because sometimes it is hard to contact admissions, in email and by phone. you can also try calling them as well next week.

uf do not have a dual enrollment program do they? b/c the head over admissions told us they do not when a student raise his hand saying he dual enroll at uf.

Holland, CALL THEM on monday. Phones will be busy but be persistent and call. Mistakes happen and it sound like someone made a mistake. Email for now with a heading that will get noticed, and then call until you get someone.

I definitely plan on calling UF Monday during school with my guidance counselor. I sent an email as soon as I saw(this morning). The subject was "No decision yet (but I did not violate the law)". I hope that gets their attention? I'm sure there will be many emails about appeal etc. This is just a sucky way to start the admissions process :/

Oh and you can dual enroll for independent research and an honors seminar at UF through the SSTP program.

yayyyy I just checked my app online. It states "I have no conduct disclosures to report." My mom called FASFA as well and they did not have any law violations reported. SO looks like UF made a mistake not us at least...
