Wow... Will this hurt me??

There are so many tiny errors on my app. I am looking over it, and I seemed like a complete amateur with what I was doing. Spelling errors, typos, and grammatically incorrect sentences plagued my application.

Besides a generally weak app, I have very strong credentials.

Great Ecs.
Good essay.
Valedictorian.
Black.
Great Awards.
High GPA.
High SAT scores.

Will these be enough for them to overlook my blunders? To be completely honest, I don't think I tried as hard as I could have to make my UF application the bets it could be. I guess it's my fault if I get rejected..

Well, it would help if you provided more detailed statistics to us.

The UF admissions website did say to review all of your answers, especially your essay, before sending it. I'm not sure if this will affect you or not.

It couldn't possibly be as bad as you say, with all your credentials.

Well I have a 1450/1600 on my SAT..

There were no errors in my essays.

Just silly errors.. like instead of 2007 I had 2207.. and instead of putting a "2" as the last digit of my cell phone number.. I have a "Y"..

thats weird.....In my application, it has a "Y" for the last number of my cell phone number, which ends with a "2" too.

How do you look at your application?

click "apply now" and then view your application.

My phone number ends with a Y as well. (It doesn't end with a 2 though.) Maybe this Y stands for YES?? =)

Can everyone check their cell phone number on their application please?

Mine ends in a Y too..

"Maybe this Y stands for YES?? =)"

Haha. We're all desperate.

I went to "print application summary." Is this the place you're talking about? My home phone number does NOT have a Y! Yikes! I'm scared!

Haha it's you're cell phone number! And i agree, we are desperate. lol

The last digit of my cell phone number has a Y too, but my home phone number is fine, lol. Ugh I can't wait to find out already..

None of my numbers have a Y. :(

Wait....what if Y stands for "Yuck" and they absolutely hated your application? LOL. I just want to give everyone the same anxiety as me.

Hahahaha ya that's def it!

The end of my cell phone number has a Y too. I also checked the summary I printed right after I submitted my application and it didn't have a Y there before. It's kind of sad that we're all worked up about a letter... haha. I say we should all just get accepted because of our very obvious enthusiasm. =]

Great. Now I feel like I'm rejected. :(

Seriously though, I just don't see how it can indicate anything, but maybe I'm just in denial.

well youre not alone. mine has no Y either... :(

Ahhhh How do I check my application? I'm trying to & it won't let me. Can someone please tell me how to or better yet, post the link?

That should be the link. You go to ufl.com, check status, and then type in your Gatorlink username and password.
