I didn't finish the essay + screwed up facts

Well, for my essay on details vs big picture, I supported the former through the improvement of the water wheel and the factory acts passed in Britain during the Indus Rev.

However, not only did I mistakengly put down "Richard Leackey" (???) as the inventor of the improved water wheel, I rushed my second paragraph and did not finish my conclusion.

How would this affect my score?

Also, can I get an 800 with perfect MC + 9 essay?

dont worry about it because most of the people that read the essays are kinda lenient because they understand the time crunch also you being compared to all the students that took the SAT for that sitting and some off the people do not have the best writing skill. I wrote a really bad essay one time but i still got a 10 so no worries. And for your last question to get an 800 would be to get everything right including a 12 on the essay

Getting facts wrong doesn’t necessarily lower your score, as long as your essay is concise and coherent. Further discussion is not allowed about the essay pursuant to College Board rules, until the March SAT scored are released.

You can usually get 800 on the writing part if you get full marks on the MC and at least 10 on the essay. You are most likely to get 790.
