I am currently a student at Hunter. But I have noticed that Hunter is a lot of self-teaching. I applied to transfer within CUNY. Did anyone have experience or know someone who went to Brooklyn/Lehman/York/Queens? Which one of these you guys had a good experience with professors or I don’t need to race to get classes?
What do you consider self-teaching?

To get priority registration, you need to get into the Honors program or the Honors college at your CUNY. You can also request permission from the professor (formal email - you’re asking for a favor- and justify request with your interest for the subject+ what you’ve already read about it, book, author, or any grades in the subject from HS such as “I got an A in Honors ZZ” or “I got a 4 on the AP exam for this subject”.)
