*Writing is my kryptonite.

Will graduate high school with about 65 college therefore I will graduate with both a High School Diploma and an AA degree

- In a recent competition I got chosen along with other very bright students to represent my county in the State Commissioner’s Academic Challenge.

*Going for Gold this year.

I don’t know what else to say about myself as a student. I am extremely anxious and worried about when UMN will send me a decision. App Tracker still says “All of your required application materials have been received. Thank you! …”. Will I just waitlisted or rejected? I really thought I would get in but as the days pass my heart sinks a little bit more.
Do you think I will get accepted? Maybe my decision will take longer because I have so many college credits?
I have been thinking about maybe sending a essay or some letters of rec. but would it even matter at this late a time?
Help!

And I forgot to mention that my GPA at the college is 3.82. Shooting for a 3.85 by the end of this semester so that I graduate with Summa Cum Laude. :slight_smile:

Yes, I’m reasonably sure you’ll get in. Not 100% (your GPA is a little low, but on an upward trajectory, and you’re OOS)… call it 95%.

My guess (though TransferGopher may disagree) is that the delay is because your application was submitted so close to the deadline. It likely is buried in with a flood of other applications received around that time, and staff need time to rifle through them all.

^ I’d recommend calling and having them check and make sure everything you have talked about has arrived. You haven’t been reviewed yet it seems. You are either going to be accepted to CLA or are in the small number of acceptances left for CSE.
