I don't know what's going on

<p>I received a mail from the honors program in LSA that stated</p>

<p>"Congratulations! It is our great pleasure to offer you a place in the Honors Program... After revewing your file, we think that you are well suited to our challenging academic program ... This letter is you invitation to Honors (bold)- we very much hope you will join us."</p>

<p>This mail was sent on the 11th of Jan, but 4 days before that on the 7th, I received an e-mail suggesting that I APPLY to honors.</p>

<p>I don't know what's going on.</p>

<p>I didn't even sent in my essay. Am I in the Honors or NOT?</p>

<p>If you've already got access to the Student Business Section (ie you've paid your deposit) you can look under the section that tells you your progress toward graduation. It'll say there's been an academic plan change. But from the way I'm reading it, I'd say you've been accepted. They do accept students into honors without them applying if they think they can handle it.</p>
