I don't understand, is this good?

I am currently ranked #9 at my school [for my school year], which translates into some 2%, but I go to a no name high school, where I take a relatively packed schedule. I'm a Sophomore

Out of all the options, I would only be missing 3-4 of the AP classes that my school offers. I hold a leader position in two of my clubs and am involved in many more [i.e. CSF, NHS, Best Buddies, Red Cross Club, Interact]

I will have been playing Varsity Tennis for all four years.

I have yet to take the SAT, nor any SAT IIs [planning for this spring].

My main fear is the fact that my high school isn't really renowned or anything, will this go against me when it comes time to apply to colleges? I will have taken most of the opportunities my school has provided and I am relatively involved [am planning on doing more].

Would I have any chance at a college like Stanford or Brown U?

You're worrying too much about your grades, classes, and school reputation. I've seen students accepted into Standford with less then half of what you've accomplished.

Yes. At the rate you're going, though, you're going to burn out if you do any more than that next year. Keep at a steady (maybe even a lesser) pace and keep earning grades like that and you're in at Stanford and Brown.

No worries. You're only a sophomore.

You'll be just fine for Stanford and Brown if you keep it up, albeit high-strung and possibly insane. Give yourself a break and loosen up in the next two years just a bit. Have fun.

I wouldn't say you're in... I had a similar transcript at a competitive HS and lotsof leadership, entrepreneurship, and volunteering... Rejected SCEA...

I must ask -- why are you involved in so many clubs? If you are in them because you love the frantic pace and are truly involved in all of those clubs, then that's fine, but if you're only in them because you think they will appeal to colleges, it would be okay to drop one or two and give yourself some downtime. Free time is important, too, as it allows you to rejuvenate for the next set of activities.

As for the rest, I would not worry. You're only a sophomore and you're doing great.

Those clubs are not taking my life away from me, they are "meet at lunch every now and again" types of clubs. Although, with some of those clubs, I get some pressure to do community service. I kind of need that, I could think about it and brainstorm many ways to help my community, but the clubs help me by giving me the opportunities with most things already planned out and ready to be done.
