I printed out the undergrad cancellation notice, and I am supposed to mail or fax it before 3/28. Does anyone know if the office of registrar is open this week? I feel safer to just drop it off in person. I don't plan on returning, so is there anything else I have to do? I also emailed the financial aid office to cancel my FAFSA. Do I have to request for leaving from my affiliated college?

The whole campus is on furlough until Monday morning. I don’t know what to tell you, but if you go to campus there won’t be anyone around.

I have a feeling they’ll accept it afterwards, especially if it’s already in their office when they re-open on Monday. I mean, if you don’t want to go, you don’t want to go. It’s not like they’ll force you to attend UCSC.

[edit] For that reason, I’d fax it anyway, even if you want to drop it off. That way it’ll already be in their office before 3/28, since most faxes are time-stamped.

I sent an email to confirm, but they never responded to me yet…
