I don't want to study anymore. I just can't focus. I give up on life

I got a 1600 on SAT and a 24 on my ACT. My parents are forcing me to take SAT/ACT and SAT subject again but i really have no motivation whatsoever. I am just tired of everything right now. Honestly, I would rather study for Biology or another courses that I really want to major in. Colleges have made my life hell right now. SO much stress that I just wanna go to beach and forget everything. EVERY summer i would hope for a better life but SAT/ ACTs would make life REALLY stressful. My parents will spy on me everyday. There are so many family problems. Problems are everywhere. My parents don't have money for me to go to college. I am an international student but texas resident. No matter how hard i try nothing seems to get in hands. I want to run away from this place and would rather prefer to live my life independently and stress-free like a hobo.

What exactly did you hope to gain from posting this?

This is the attitude one should have when preparing for the SAT. Almost surely you will get above 2300 now.

@ sandwhichgirl : your sandwich

yeah thanks, you would understand since you are in deep situation like i am.

people post the stupidest s*** on this forum nowadays…=/

Is this suppose to be some sort of insult?

Posting your plight on an internet forum really isn’t going to help you at all.

What do you want from us? If you say what you want from us, maybe we can help. We can’t until then though.

If you guys give me a sincere help, that would be nice ( if you didn’t get the obvious in this post haha jk ) :)

Help on what?

wow everybody’s really harsh. I went through a “I hate studying and the SATs” period too, but I got over it. It’s just another part of getting to college, getting a good job, etc. Sometimes life hands us lemons (yeah I know you’ve heard it…) but eventually you’ll be done with the SAT. The less you worry about it, the faster that’ll come

:)
thanks physicsnut1
hopefully everything will work fine  :D

I study for the sat because I love it. Nobody is forcing me. My parents don’t care at all.

^ …You love the SAT?

OP: I’m sorry you’re stressed out, but I think your view that hobos live “stress-free” is a little misguided…

take a deep breath, eat a chocolate donut, and relax.

don’t study too much!!!

Actually its important to have some stress when studying for the SAT. It is completely normal and essential to doing well. Too much stress of course is bad. But really just think of the SAT as a game and do your best to learn how to beat the game. Study and practice for it and your score can def improve.

^^^ It depends whether you love the SAT or not. If you get a thrill from working or solving problems, then sure.

THAT SANDWICH JOKE WAS MAD FUNNY I LOLED~~~ not being sarcastic btw.
btw… play hard die hard pray hard and live hard

forgot to mention cry hard god will answer your prayers. ill pray for me and you whats your name

i definitely feel for you man.

I don’t get how SAT and ACT will get me a major in biology?
I know they are about how serious you are to get ready for college.
But this american college system could have done something better and kinda relevant like an exam for you really want to know about and work your butts off for (SAT subject tests are for placements but still)
you know what i mean?
