0.30% off from passing...

what do i do? i applied to UCs as a freshman(this is my only failing grade ever btw). If i retake the class do i still have to contact them?!! help please?
:( i'm gonna ask the teacher to round to a C , but worst case scenario...

what the h ell do you mean “round to a C”? If you barely failed, meaning you got a high F, then a C- is usually about 10% higher than that. Did you get a D, or an F?

Hi haltanu,

When you apply to the UC’s, your log in account will tell you that you have to report any D or F. Unfortunately, if grades are in, you need to report it. If the grades are not in and you still have the final, I would study my heart out and ask the teacher for any and all extra credit you can do. What UC’s did you apply? LA, SB, Berkley, SD, are very competitive. Davis and SB, and SC a little less. Riverside and Merced not so much. So it depends where you applied as to how much impact it will have. TT your counselor, after talking with your teacher and before you report your grade for advice. Good Luck.

I got a 69.73% which is considered failing.
I already took the final…but i will talk to my teacher to see if theres anything i can do. i applied to all ucs except berkely and merced…:(. I’ll see my counselor and see what my options are, thank you for answering
