Does a white NY male with a weighted 3.5 gpa and a 1930 (CR 650 M 610 W 670)/29 on the SAT/ACT stand a chance at UCLA. I'm lazy so I won't type it out but I have a pretty decent amount of work experience, clubs, and community service. I will also be able to get good recommendations. I also plan on taking the SAT once more in october.

I’ll also finish with 8 AP classes

I’d say you have a pretty low chance. While UCLA is beginning to accept more out of state students, your SAT score puts you at a disadvantage, and you don’t seem to really have anything that really makes you stand out…or I’m just missing it. If you’re taking the SAT again, you should aim for at least 2100, I suppose. The UC application has no need for recommendations, so even if you send one in, it’ll be discarded.
