I feel dirty doing this but, What are my chances?(Film: NYU,BU,Emerson)

<p>I don't really have anything to do but make a post like this while waiting for my ED decision, so here it goes.</p>

<p>Schools I'm applying to- NYU(ED), BU, Emerson
I am applying to these schools as a film major.
I attend a quality public school in the suburbs of St. Louis, MO. (It was 300 something in that top 500 public high school list.)</p>

<p>GPA- UW:3.7 (This would be higher but I got a 3.2 first semester freshman year.)
ACT- 31
SAT- Did not take it</p>

<p>5 AP courses by graduation (1 taken last year, AP GOV, 5), advanced/honor/top track classes throughout high school</p>

<p>My activities list includes: Theater(7 front stage roles, this takes up the bulk of my time), Animal Rights Club (Founder, president), Young Dems(Leadership), I played water polo for 2 years, swam for 1, Bowling club, assorted other minor clubs. I also work at a proficient/advanced level with Adobe Photoshop and devote a few hours a week to projects using it.</p>

<p>I also participated in NYU’s selective summer film program (56 slots, 200+ applicants)</p>

<p>Good essays, good recs(I imagine)</p>

<p>I thnk you are kind of weak, cause your ECs look small -> 7 front stage roles?? A little more descriptive?</p>

<p>that summer program doesn't mean ****, they just want your money, i got rejected from that stupid thing twice and got in ed, am i bitter that my summers were left unfufilled, yes. haha, it also cost me about a week of depression for both times i applied and got rejected. and i had to get a job...nyu summer film can eat me.</p>

<p>Well ld10lmp, he got in, and I think the summer program was a big help in doing so. Just because you didn't get in doesn't mean it's worthless.</p>
