I've asked her out twice and she's been busy both times. First was finals, so that's understandable. Second was because she still has to do some stuff before she leaves for a month. They're legitimate reasons, but something is telling me that she's nicely rejecting me.

Meh, back to being just friends. So much for my attempt at breaking out of the friend zone.

Agreed… finals only last like a week. If I wanted to go out with you, I’d say “sure! This week I’m really busy because of finals… let’s hang out next week!”

Yeah, definitely give him credit for asking her. That’s the hardest part.

Just to shed some light on the situation, I don’t know if you watch scrubs but I thought of this one scene where JD tries to put a move on Elliot. It’s pretty funny.

At least you had guts. I always need Twain to remind me to get some cojones

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Live your life and don’t regret. I nearly screwed up for jprom, but last minute I managed to grow a pair and get the job done. So glad I did. I came out looking a bit like a ****** (I ditched a senior who asked me to take a girl I liked), but at least I won’t live with regret.

Not necessarily. I’m in a similar situation. This dude is head over heels for me and I like him back but due to my hectic schedule I can’t say yes just yet. He asked me out like four times but there’s a lot going on right now academically and personally. TBH my mom would disapprove of boyfriends so that could also be her case. Though I do commend you on asking her out, she probably really appreciated your braveness.
