I finally chose Cornell to ED, but will they choose me?

Yea, another chance thread. I kind of had one earlier, but I didnt know if I was EDing to Cornell or not. Now it's final and here it goes:

My school is competitive. My class is the MOST competitive at our school. Lets put it this way, we have 19 National Merit high scorers in my class. The most in Missouri. 4 people had full scores on the June ACTs in Missouri. 2 were in my class. My conselor has said that our class is the most gifted class she has seen in 20 years. Just a factor in the decision.

Rank: 29/406 = top 7%
4.26 weighted GPA, 3.93 unweighted
I have gotten 3 B's in my high school career. 2 freshman year (Culinary Arts (it was actually pretty hard, don't ask) and French II) and 1 Junior year (Hon Gov). I have taken all honors except english. I am taking AP Eng now though. My grades have been improving drastically. My H's layout:
0 Freshman year
2 Softmore year
4 Junior year

ACT: 34
SAT II: Math IIC: 770, Planning on taking Bio in Oct, score at least about 740.
APs: 5 in Psychology (We don't have an AP Psych course, I was the only one taking it at my school) and 5 in AP Comp Sci A.

I am involved in:
Debate (Various Awards) since Junior year
KUTO crises hotline Crises Worker since this summer
Founder and President of my school's Breakdancing club since Junior year
Vice Prez of Youth Organization of Chinese Americans (Community Service group, member since Softmore year)
Tutor at Kumon Math and Reading all year round, 10 hrs/week
NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Chi Pi
Tennis since Freshman year
Played drums since 6th grade
Other random stuff I'm not even going to mention

Senior schedule:
AP Eng
AP Physics
AP Chem
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
random electives for graduation requirements

I will get great recs (I just asked them, they said they could easily write me strong recs) and a great essay (AP Eng teacher making us write and edit essay for a grade).

So, what do you guys think? I know I have a chance but I still have safeties in mind (workin on the Michigan app too for rolling admissions). Once again, comedy is much appreciated. Oh, help is too. Thanks guys.

I think it's "sophomore", not "softmore". This is not a comedy though. :)

You have a decent chance. My only problem is that you don't stick out as an outstanding applicant. BTW, I think you will need to take a standardized writing test.

You have shot. Your grades/rank are rather unimpressive, but your scores are pretty good. If your application was creative and truly shows your uniqueness, I'd say you have a pretty good shot at getting in.

Best of luck.

I think you'll get in. People with way worse stats than yours have made it.
