Hey guys, I took an AP test today, and I didn’t realize until 1 minute left that I hadn’t filled out anything, on the answer sheet. I only filled out 11 questions, is there still hope?
Nope
I don’t know which AP test it is, but I can honestly assume that you probably did not make a 3 or higher. You would have to get practically every part of the Free Response (if applicable) to even have the potential for a 3 at that point. What test was it, out of curiosity?
Human Geography
What were you doing during the test?
Slowly answering the questions and circling them.
Speaking from a combination of last year and some of the previous ones, the scale, though dynamic, has been extremely tight and heavily affected by the 3 Free Response Questions. Let’s just say that you’re an amazing student and you’ve gotten 10 of the 11 questions you filled out. According to last year’s released scale, you’d get a 3 if you got perfect scores on ALL of the FRQ’s (according to papas, you could get one a 6/7 on one of the questions and still get a 3). So . . . I would say very unlikely.
PS: If you got ALL of the MC right, you could miss up to 3/21 points on the FRQ’s. Obviously, the scale can and will change from year to year, but it’s as close to leading you to an answer as you’ll get. Sorry.
*papas is my autocorrect for APPASS.com
Welp that sucks.
RIP, next time you know though
Do you have the possibility of canceling the test? Did you tell the proctor what happened?
Update- this is how you cancel the score: https://secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-score-cancellation-form.pdf
RIP, your story seems the be the stuff of nightmares.
Seriously though, how did that even happen? This can’t be your first test (even school tests require you to bubble answer sheets in before time is up).
Didn’t your proctor say there was 10 minutes left?
