lol, 1950 ain't bad (I got a 1960 )

lol hmm but still i should bring it up...

gah, life is hard =(

doesnt really matter, i think.

i have a 2 on my AP list, and i reported it. i also have two 3's (hehe) and i reported those as well.

so far, i got into UCSB regents and USC (marshall). i'll try to update you when berkeley comes out.

lol ok..hope you get in =)

but i mean you prolly have stellar stats too

You don't report/send AP scores until after you are accepted and committ to attending a school. You send those scores to the school so they can determine which courses you may get credit for. When applying you only report through your transcript and list of current courses which AP's you have or are taking.

The schools will not know any AP scores when looking over your application.

Most colleges that the OP is interested in ask for AP scores on the application form. As of this year, all Common Application colleges do, and the UC system application form has asked for AP scores since a few years ago.

Congratulations. You just honestly reported your scores, and got some good admission results.

Ok, guys thanks for the asnwers

but in all honesty, will a 1 screw me over for admissions to selective colleges? I'm going to start working NOW for this year's ap tests

My son did well in AP History and got a 3 on the test. His best friend got a C in the class but got a 5 on the AP. Some people just test well, others don't. Unfortunately, my son is the latter. I want him to take the Chemistry AP test, since he's taking Honors Chem this year. His teacher told the kids that only kids with 95 averages or better should take it, since they haven't covered all the material. Do you think it would hurt for him to take it?
Also, what math subject test should he take? He's taken Honors Algebra I, II, Geometry, and is now in Honors Analysis. He's barely gotten a B in all of them. Should he even take Math I SAT Subject test now, or wait until senior year? He's a junior now, and will be applying to engineering school, so I'm thinking he should probably take a MATH SAT subject test. He's applying to private Catholic colleges, not Ivies, but not state schools, either.

For all test-takers, the prudent thing to do is to take genuine practice tests. They are more plentiful for SAT Subject Tests than for AP tests, but try to obtain those for practice and see how you do.

Montegut, I don't think he should take any AP tests. He should wait until he takes the actual AP class.

Math SAT needs Algebra up to Trig..has he done Trig? If he has, then he should take it
