As everyone else has been saying, 191 isn’t bad at all! Especially if you took the test without prep. When you take the real one junior year, you’ll already have naturally practiced some more. Remember, SAT tests what you’ve learned and accumulated in school, especially high school. So, clearly, going through an entire year before the real SAT will definitely help with readiness.

My sophomore PSAT score was a 170. My junior year PSAT score is a 220.
so puh-lease quit whining and go study like i did~

you’ll be fine! just do some prep and I’m sure you can bring it up
(p.s. don’t do prep classes… they basically don’t help at all. just study on your own)

I only got 194 sophomore year.

I got 224 junior year on PSAT, and got a 2300 on the SAT.

You are fine if you study a lil.

Sophomore year 191 ■■■■…screwed. Anybody scoring less than a 200 on that test bunched together and run over by a snow plow and you never graduate, never get a job, never raise a family.

I got a 169 as a sophomore lol. look where i ended up. you’re fine.

Take the little practice test they give you next year. I took it the day before the test this year (as a junior) and got a 215. I haven’t gotten my scores for this year, but they’re bound to be better than last year’s (19something too). There’s a little bit of natural, effortless improvement over the course of the year, and taking the practice test helped me understand the grading process a bit more, which made me way less stressed out. And I get the SAT Question of the Day, which just helps you get used to the types of questions they throw at you. Chillax.

lol thanks. But how did you guys prep to get your scores up like that?

I hate to say this but with my experience people who get your kind of scores won’t really go better than their state’s public flagship university.

Yeah so you’re pretty much screwed. Maybe even community college. **** your life.

(I got a 151 on the PSAT as a JUNIOR)

I got a 207 cold as a sophomore.

OTOH, at that point, I had already taken the SAT twice, so I may have had more experience than other people.

I got a 226 junior year after looking at a couple of math questions time night before and did better than that on the SAT. Soph PSAT doesn’t matter.
