i got a 710...

on my SAT II US HISTORY, i got a 710.

what is the ballpark that i should expect for on my AP exam for US History?

i know they are very much different... but i just wanted to know.

haha well, its hard to say.

i got a 4 on my ap us history exam and like a 540 on the sat II us history.

SO, no correlation imo. haha.

4 and 540....
yeah, that's a pretty considerable difference.....

To compare; I got a 5 on the AP exam and a 740 on the SAT II (which was taken quite a few weeks after the exam with little studying done, just fyi.)

What's more important is how you feel you did. The exams are different, my SAT II focused more on cultural questions. I don't think you can really compare the scores, except to say that since you got about a 700 you're not about to get a 2 and probably won't get a 3.

I took the AP US exam in May 2005 and got a 5. I took the SAT II in US History in December of 2005 and got a 740.

I think it's hard to say because of the essays on the AP, which are subjective and a completely different thing than just multiple choice. Depending on how comfortable you felt with them I would think that would correlate into a 4 or 5 from what I've seen.

If it helps any, I took the SAT II the day after the AP last year and I got a 5 and a 730.

710 on sat us history and 5 on ap...

I got a 740 on my physics SAT II but only a 4 on the AP..so yeah, i agree, it's hard to tell...

I think you'll have a 4 or a 5, assuming your essays weren't awful.

Speaking of ballpark, this is sort of like the question "I have a .395 batting average. What kind of ERA can I expect when I start pitching?"

Your batting average tells me you're a good athlete, so you should be good at pitching, but you can't really compare the two.

720 and a 4, though i didn't prep for either one very much at all, so not sure how accurate that is.

710 and 4 for me

I got a 5 and a 780, but they're two different types of test. Each one approahces U.S. History in a different way, so while it's probable that there would be some correlation between your scores, neither one insures the results of the other. (I'm aware that I'm just regurgitating what everyone else has already said.)

i got a 4 and a 780, it depends on how much essay prep you've done (i didn't do a dbq until the night before)
