I got a letter that says...

Actually two letters from UVA and W/M.

UVA said that my application was unusually impressive and that it was clear that i should really spend the night at UVA and consider going there.

For W/M, the assistant dean of admissions actually wrote to me on a postcard stating that my academic record is very impressive and especially enjoyed my essay on my love for theater. She wishes much success for me.

Does this mean I'm in??

sounds like a likely letter to me, both of em

Congrats on getting those letters! They definitely sound like likely letters! I was wondering if W/M stood for College of William and Mary.

haha thank you!!
yeah it's William and Mary. I hope I get in! the anticipation is killing me!

I also applied to William and Mary. I hope I get a letter too. I ws wondering what state you lived in, because maybe (hopefully) likely letters didn't get to Pennsylvania (where I live) yet.

cg..............

Yeah I live in Virginia. ahh i just want to know for sure now

Congratulations demolitionlvr! What school/college did you apply for at UVA?

hah thanks archrival! I did the college of science and art

congrats !! my friend goes to W &M, absolutely loves it. :)

I got the "unusually impressive" letter from UVA too! Asked my gc about it--says it's a likely letter. I'm excited but don't want to get my hopes up.

demolitionlvr & hopefullyblue, did you just get the letters by mail? I thought schools send out likely letters earlier but it sounds like they are sending some out now.

Congrats on getting in. Sounds like both accept you

yup in the mail!! go us hopefully blue :D
