I got the likely letter today in the mail and, understandably, i was very excited cuz i really like uva. From what I've seen, there are two versions of the letter, one with just praise ("you're amazing, come to uva!"), and then one thats half praise and half 'talk about visiting'.

Mine was the half and half one, and I'm concerned because I've never visited UVA. Is this their way of saying, 'we like you, but you've never visited us so we're not sure if you're actually interested in us' ???? Did anyone get the half and half letter that already visited?

And if I do go visit, am I definetly in????

oh my, so many questions....someone please help me out

hmmm... that's interesting... but i believe that there is only one version of the letter... i think i received the one that you are referring to (some talk about visiting) but i have already visited. i think they say that just to encourage you to go there because they really want you to attend uva. so in my opinion, if you do go visit you are not helping your chances. you are already in. congratulations.

I think you are mistaken about the 2 different versions of the letter. Everyone seems to have gotten the same one.

I guess you got in dude!

They want you to come have a look because the place sells itself. I certainly enjoyed my four years there. Best of luck to y'all.
