I got accepted at these schools *i'm not a ivy student*

<p>I know these schools are ive league like every posting on this forum but for the few kids like me that have mediocore grades but work hard and are good kids that have other worries like family issues , self indepedent, here are my stats and scores. Hopefully i help someone out.</p>

<p>GPA W:3.4
GPA UW: 3.2</p>

<p>SAT: 1170/1600
1750/2400</p>

<p>*My course load is predominately all Honors/ A.P.
*3 sport varsity athlete
*Good E.C.'s with leadership positions
*ALOT OF WORK, i am very independent</p>

<p>(my acceptances are into biology and microbiology programs
*Hofstra university-accepted ,15,000 scholarship
*Quinnipiac university-accepted, 14,000 scholarship
*Providence College- Deferred
*Umass Amherst-aceepted
*Western New England university- (accepted to pre-pharm) 13,500 scholarship
*Loyola university maryland-still waiting
*Fairfield university -still waiting</p>

<p>Thanks for posting this, I feel so much better now, after reading this forum I was convinced I wasn’t going to get in anywhere (Im not a 3.9 gpa kid, or even a 3.5, and Im not gonna get a 1900 on the SATs either, I promise.) but this helped, I don’t feel totally depleted anymore, maybe a little…but still hahaha this helped, thanks!^</p>

<p>My son had a similar list and was accepted to all but one school. Fairfield, Fordham, Holy Cross, Gettysburg, Dickinson all took him along with a number of OOS State flagships and he got some money too, though not as much as you did.</p>

<p>Funny that you mention that Ivies are most often requested: I rarely chance people for Ivies only. Most of the people I chance that have Ivies on their lists also have a non-elite college on their list.</p>
