My major is Financial Accounting, and I intended to add a double major with Business or Finance at UCR as a precaution of not getting accepted in UCLA, UCB, UCD. I have failed to get into UCLA and UCB, but get accepted into UCD (not my priority option for my major).
I have known that UCD has a good economic program, while UCR has a superior business and financial school.
I wonder should I choose to go with Davis, or just stay in UCR?
I would stay with UCR since your focus looks to be specifically in Business not Econ and UCR has an excellent Business school. If you are doing well at UCR, why rock the boat. Finish up your degree and move on with your life.
Thanks for replying.
I got like 3.4 GPA currently, so I am doing pretty well at UCR.
And, may I ask about how good is UC Davis’ economic program?
I have no personal experience or knowledge in regards to UCD’s Econ program but based on your interests, UCR’s Business school seems to fit your criteria much better.
I would look over the course curriculum to see if their Econ program will fulfill your requirements.

Thanks for the advice, it seems like both schools are almost evenly in the prospect of economics, while UCR has an upper hand of having a business school.
I will think very careful about this decision.
Both are good schools so best of luck.
