I got accepted to a coupel schools..

I was accepted to University of Hartford, and Suffolk University.

I dont hear great things about Hartford, and i read about suffolk, and it sounds pretty cool. if my top choice doesnt work out, im thinking ill most likely go to suffolk for a year then transfer. can someone give me an opinion on suffolk?

I'm posting under my sons sig!

My son goes to Suffolk he's in the honors Government...politics, law and the courts. Great being in the State House everyday!
He loves it! He says the honors classes are small 6-15 students, and lectures are around 20-25 students. His professors have all been attentive, available, friendly and intelligent. His current professors went to Cornell, Duke, Yale and Harvard. He feels he is getting a great education and more attention than he would have if he went to one of the other schools he was accepted to. He got full merit scholarship to Suffolk. He lives in the dorm there, he's made friends. Make sure you get your housing deposit in right away if your even thinking about going, they don't have enough rooms for freshmen students.
If there is any other questions you have about suffolk, I'll ask him for you!

has some great pics for you to look at, that is his dorm building, it's in the center of everything, great area!

Okay, I am going to ask the never ending question: why apply to schools you don't hear great things about?

Just wondering

But, CONGRATS!!!

^^coz u usually want it to be ur safety...

but if you don't want to GO to your safety at all, why pick it and not another school

i mean, shouldn't your safety be at least a school you would want to attend if you didn't have an option

its like saying, well, I am gonna be eel as a back up dinner in case the steak doesn't work out, but I hate eel

hey i don't know if you already decided, but i visited suffolk and loved it, it is in a great part of boston, and there is a lot to do within the school walls, and outside of them, there are not many spaces for dorms, so you might want to get on that if you are going, but it is a great school. it is not a BU by any means, but you are in boston, how much better can it get?
