I got accepted!!

<p>The Indiana Student Union was specifically designed to look like St. John's college at Oxford University in Great Britain.</p>

<p>Here are pictures of both buildings so you can decide for yourself how close they were or were not able to duplicate the effect.</p>

<p>I think they picked St. John's college since it is considered the "wealthiest" college of all of the Oxford schools (as also is the St. John's college at Cambridge). The quad at St. John's College is quite a bit more impressive than the quad at IU, though--but of course it is also about 200 years older.</p>
