My stupid school make seniors take this stupid course called "Career Search", which is not even a a-g courses or u.c. approved course. At the end of 1st semester i got F for not following the direction. I barely got accepted into UCI(considering the grades i got in 10th grade, i'm really lucky), and this stupid F in none a-g course is keeping me worried even though this time we should be enjoying our senior year! Would i get rescinded because of this none a-g course that I failed?

i hear ya. i too am losing motivation to do well now that i already got accepted into the uc's.

your best bet at this point is to give the uci admissions office a call asap.

what would you tell the admissions office? "so i got a D/F, what do i do?"

I think they only care about D's and F's in A-G courses. That's what it says in the freshman contract if i remember correctly......

No, it doesn't matter, since it is not an A-G approved course, it is not weighed in on your transcript or into the decision for you to attend UCI. This is probably a school course that you just need to pass to graduate? I had such a course at my high school as well, and it really sucked, because there was no point to it during freshman year since no one cared. But it should not affect anything concerning UCI. Just make sure that your overall GPA when you graduate meets their standards.
