I got falsely arrested and it ruined my life.

A week before college applications I was arrested for pot possession under an ounce when I didn’t have any pot. My parents didn’t believe me and forced me to plead guilty and I was rejected from all the schools I applied to. I studied so hard and had stellar grades and it’s quite unfortunate.

How did you get arrested for pot if there was no pot? That’s confusing. Did a friend have pot or something?

Why would you plead guilty if you weren’t guilty?

Not trying to blame you, but you were the one who plead guilty. “But my parents…”. At the end of the day, it wasn’t their words coming out of your mouth, it was your words coming out of your mouth.

I don’t know what situation you are in, but it was you who basically stated that you were guilty.

You can try to withdraw, but that is very difficult.

Looking into your post history, how were you raped during your freshman year if you were rejected by all the schools you applied to?

I am pretty sure it was the 3.3 Weighted GPA that did you in, not the drug charges. You seem to be running around and blaming your parents (saying they forced you to plea guilty and get rejected from college), when your academic scores were far below your reach schools. You honestly didn’t plan carefully or have adequate match or safety schools.

@RMNiMiTz They might be a transfer applicant.

@Hamlon

I understand your logic (CC>College). But if he/she transferred from a CC, wouldn’t that be sometime during sophomore or junior year?

If they were raped at their liberal arts college during freshman year, I don’t think they transferred from a CC.

Story exposed.

@RMNiMiTz You don’t have to transfer from a CC to be a transfer applicant. OP hasn’t come back, so we can’t verify. They might have attempted to leave their LAC for these other schools.

@Hamlon

Then where did he transfer from if he got rejected everywhere else?

Right, but if he was rejected from all his college apps in high school, how did he end up at a LAC as a freshman?

This is from where I concluded they went HS directly to college.

Hardly. This detective work is nonsensical.

OP got rejected from three schools as a freshman applicant, then “ended up at an unranked school,” presumably the liberal arts college. It may have been on that list of colleges with seats open nearer to May 1st. Or maybe they applied for the spring semester.

Weird how there are actually ways this could have played out realistically, huh.

I’m still a little concerned how OP’s parents forced them to plead guilty, especially if they are an adult. Although it may make sense if they’re dealing with the trauma of a sexual assault.

As I believe someone suggested on another thread, maybe OP should get a therapist.
