so i got into UCI and UCD, what would happen if i got like all C's for my last semester at ccc, as long as i don't fail, do you think they would revoke my admission? what are the chances of that happening?

oh yeah, i'm also waiting for UCB and UCSD....what are their policies regarding that sort of stuff?

well the UCI and UCD requirements for most people say to maintain a 2.8 GPA overall. So if a semester full of Cs doesn't make your transfer gpa lower than 2.8 you should be alright right?

oh whoops, that's 2.8 tranferable for the last semester. If you get all Cs you'll just have to notify them and they should offer you some sort of "alternative" solution based on your specific case I believe.

are the ucb and ucsd policies about the same?

UCSD is, don't know about Cal.

What about getting a W?

You shouldn't drop any class that is required...like one of those on your articulations (assist.org). If it's an extra GE course that is beyond your IGETC completion, for example, it should be fine. I'm taking a PE class just to keep in shape, and I wouldn't hesitate dropping it if it were affecting my studies...but you should check with each school to make sure.

Your conditions of admission should be available for each school. Some are 2.0, others higher. Just check.

The 2.0 is for the semester not the overall requirement. I'm required to get at least a 2.0 this Spring semester and have an overall of at least 2.7.

iamapp- where did you get into?

UCI, I heard some people need to keep at least a 2.8 for this semester while some need a 2.7. I don't know why. Look at the terms and conditions when you log in. And if you want to calculate your GPA it has something to do with how many units that certain class is and stuff. I forgot how to calculate it but it was annoying and confusing if I remember correctly.

I need a 2.8 for my UCI contract.

wow...only a 2.8 overall??? hmm....and 2.0 for the semester...i think i will be fine then.

I need a 3.0 overall in my contract. In my application form, my gpa was just 3.3.

I'm a rocker, I rock out.
