I’m being skeptical right now, but I just got my acceptance letter to Berkeley. My letter doesn’t mention regents/Chancellor’s, but just that I was accepted. Does Berkeley send out early acceptances?

Yes. They are letting the RCS candidates and some others know earlier this year so Cal isn’t an afterthought for top candidates looking at other great schools who have notified them already. Obviously, skepticism and confusion as traditionally EVERYONE found out at the end of March.
Be glad you don’t have to wait that long! It was torture for D as it was one of her last acceptances.
